Democratizing agtech.
Making farmers heard.

OUR MISSION

We believe in the power of democratizing agtech and building more sustainable communities by connecting farmers to actionable data through the strategic media of tech and policy.

OUR PURPOSE

We're leading to reimagine agriculture for a new era.

As the first global cost-effective, sensor-free spatial machine learning app to help farmers grow more equitably, we're a student-led organization dedicated to pursuing initiatives that promote agricultural sustainability across the globe by combating vegetation stresses via algorithms in 4 key areas: crop growth, threats, water use, and soil health.

CREATING NEW STORIES

The people we serve.

We're passionate about agriculture that is appropriate and accessible by respecting local practices and celebrating rustic communities.

Farmers
We improve crop management by allowing farmers to monitor soil moisture, nutrient levels, and diseases to maximize food security.

Orchards
The heart of fruit cultivation. We make sure fruit trees receive the exact nutrients and water they need to maximize productivity and fruit quality.

Vineyards
We transform grape harvesting by monitoring vine health and predicting optimal harvest times to maximize grape quality for winemakers.

OUR STORY

We started Agsight as students simply looking for a more sustainable way to farm.

I was in the living room, flicking through channels on a lazy Sunday afternoon when I stumbled on a documentary — Food Machine. A segment on California’s tomato growers grabbed my attention. There, tomatoes are more than a crop — they're a way of life. With the state's critical water scarcity issues, drip irrigation systems conserve water but  cause salinization as a side effect. I wondered: How might I use a tech business to replenish the environment by mitigating water waste? The answer was Agsight.

OVERVIEW
Services we provide.
We're flexible in how we work, and our platform is designed to support you every step of the way. Agsight offers actionable  insights and near real time monitoring algorithms that guide you through every stage and challenge.
We're committed to making sure every solution is tailored to your farm's specific needs with a focus on sustainability and long-term success. This has seen us partner with a  range of specialty crop farmers, from small family-run orchards to commercial vineyards and vegetable farms.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainable as a standard.

We create for positive, enduring impact. Making sustainability a first thought is a no brainer. The future depends on it. Sustainability for main, not as an optional dessert. We look at how everything we do preserves, impacts, interacts with and inspires life by protecting farmers from modern threats like wildfires, diseases, salinization, and invasive species.

OUR VISION
We're committed to reducing water use by 17% and pesticide use by 25% across all partner farms by 2027.

Efficient water use
We use advanced machine learning models to analyze weather data, soil conditions, and crop health for precise irrigation recommendations. This reduces water use to help farmers conserve this precious resource and fight salinization.

Less chemicals
Our pest and disease prediction algorithms identify potential outbreaks before they occur, allowing farmers to target treatments more accurately and reducing the need for indiscriminate pesticide use.

Fertile soils
By providing detailed insights into soil composition and nutrients, we help farmers optimize their fertilization and irrigation. This makes sure that crops receive the nutrients they need without over-fertilizing, which can lead to runoff and pollution.
